MaaT Pharma is an Oncology Microbiome clinical stage company developing biotherapeutics to treat high unmet medical needs. We are among the most advanced Microbiome companies with two programs in clinical development. Being disruptive, we drive clinical studies focusing on the microbiome to investigate causality in oncology to assess the impact of modulating the Microbiome on overall survival. We use elaborated analytical tools, such as whole shotgun sequencing, that we combine with clinical data to evaluate our biotherapeutics.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Data Manager to oversee the development and use of MaaT data. Part of the GutPrint® platform team, you will benefit from an innovative environment that mingles microbiome bioinformatics with data science, hence supporting the company in discovery and clinical trials activities.

You will architect and implement the MaaT data management system to organize, store and analyze data with attention to security and confidentiality following applicable regulation.

You have a strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures. You have appetite for new technologies and possess excellent troubleshooting skills.

The goal is to ensure that information flows timely and securely to and from the organization as well as within.

Key Responsabilities
  • Create and enforce policies for effective data management
  • Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
  • Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
  • Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders etc.
  • Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to regulation and company standards (e.g. CDISC)
  • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
  • Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)
  • Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses
  • Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications
  • A highly motivated, goal and results-oriented individual with a master’s degree or equivalent degree in computer science or relevant field.
  • Proven experience as data manager
  • Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
  • Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies
    • Knowledge in UML/ SQL and R/RStudio would be appreciated
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A thorough understanding of the drug development process and working knowledge of the essential activities for all key functional areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Can-do attitude.
